Welcome, welcome, one and all - we are delighted to announce that 'Wired Minds', the official CSLB lab blog, is now open for business.
As a group our research spans a wide range of topics - including computational linguistics, psycholinguistics, the neural bases of language comprehension, language production, visual object processing, and how these are affected (or not) in healthy ageing and brain damage such as stroke.
Whilst some bias towards these topics is inevitable, the intention with 'Wired Minds' is to provide a general forum for discussion on topics in the field of cognitive neuroscience (broadly conceived). The intention is not so much an exercise in 'science communication' (plenty of these already) as a snapshot of 'science in practice' - with a mix of theoretical, technical, and practical issues.
We warmly welcome contributions from outside the CSLB - the more Wired Minds the better.
